Gary got a Fargo. It’s that other metal, Titanium. Salsa offers a complete Ti version of the Fargo, this is not that. For starters, this is a 2012 frame which was made in good old Tennessee at the Lynskey plant. USA, Baby. The build was focused on dependability and ease of repair. A good multi tool is all that is required to service the needs of this bike while Gary cruises the Divide with gear aboard.
The nitty gritty details include a reliable Shimano XT dominated drivetrain, Salsa Woodchipper bars (see Fargo movie for naming reference), Swallow Bicycle Works built DT Swiss/WTB tubeless wheels (uses no tools aside from a spoke wrench), Avid BB7 braking, the versatile and tough Geax TNT Saguaro tires, and comfy appointments in the seating department compliments of a Cane Creek Thudbuster and WTB Rocket V SLT. Subtle flair provided by red Chris King headset and Salsa Flip-Off Skewers.
